KDT Academy is a fitness studio located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and we operate KDT Athletics.com, www.kettlebells.my, and www.kdta.com.
We are located in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
We sell and distribute kettlebells, provide training and consultation and are the pioneers for kettlebell training in Malaysia.
Our studio and affiliates are also Certified Kettlebell Teachers tested and recognized by the International Kettlebell and Fitness Federation and we provide training, certification opportunities and organize workshops and kettlebell seminars.
Since 2008, KDT Academy and I represent IKFF in the capacity of Director of Operations for S.E. Asia and head a team of Certified Kettlebell Teachers at our studio and affiliate gyms.
For 2010, I have been appointed and authorized as S.E.Asia's sole IKFF CKT Level 1 Examiner.

Over the years, we have been getting more exposure for kettlebell training and in 2008 I invited and hosted IKFF's director, Mr. Steve Cotter, to Malaysia to conduct kettlebell training and certification on his second visit. In 2009, I invited Mr. Cotter to Malaysia again to conduct the CKT Level 1 and 2 certification courses where we hosted enthusiasts and fitness professionals from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Australia, Japan and USA. We have been training, teaching, importing and selling kettlebells in its various forms over the years and have reached the stage where we have the technical support and represent the IKFF as well as the membership to an international community of kettlebell training enthusiasts. Join the IKFF kettlebell discussion forum here With a short history, we have already have affiliates and distributors in Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, as well as in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. We have since trained and certified many kettlebell instructors in the region and are still growing exponentially. We are excited to share this growth with you. We never claim to be the best in kettlebell training as we just got started, but we're improving everyday and would enjoy more company. |
